This work was commissioned by the Riverina Conservatorium of Music to be premiered as part of their 2013 concert series. The premiere was given on September 15, 2013, with Brett Thompson on flute, Craig Walton on clarinet, John Myatt on bassoon and Hamish Tait at the piano.
