Today my flute ensemble performed in the Open Instrumental Section of the Gold Coast Eisteddfod. This section is a difficult section as there are so many different ensembles including jazz bands, clarinet and other flute ensembles. They performed your Haydn arrangement of Finale and your composition, Ants in the Anteroom. I am pleased to say that they came first! The adjudicator was a trombonist, so I instantly thought we had no chance, but he thoroughly enjoyed it! I even had people from the audience coming down who I had never met before saying how much they enjoyed the Ants piece. But most importantly the students really enjoyed performing it. Thank you so much and please keep writing awesome works!
