This is an earlier and alluring work of Telemann’s, originally for two flutes/recorders with strings and continuo. This arrangement for three flutes, two clarinets and piano is suitable for a mixed ability group containing harder and easier parts within the difficulty category and it is an excellent piece for an ensemble with a few advanced students who need something more challenging with the solo parts.
